    all packaged food in USa HAS to have a nutritional label, even if what they print is incorrect.
    One of my favourite labels is on Pam cooking spray.
    It's a cooking oil in spray form- the nutritional label says o calories per spray.It is a joke.

    Of course there are calories in it.

    There are so many inconsistencies in food labelling, it's ridiculous. Another one I love is the 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom soup by Campbells.
    I love this soup, it's hardly soup infact, it's more like flour with mushrooms attached, but it's my guilty peasure- the fat free one is much creamier.
    The label says each 100gms is 70 calories, and out of that, the fat calories are 25 of those same calories.SO that means it is NOT 99%fat free, and instead, should be labelled 40% fat .

    So, you are doing the right thing with your own research.
    Magnesium is found in Brazil nuts and bananas a lot. As fas as the labelling goes, write a complaint letter to Target and you'll get some toekns maybe.
    My letter to Campbells did nothing.

    Why do they put some not all nutirents?
    Well al I can figure, is that whoever write these labels up is a person just plike you or I, so maybe that guy didn't think magnesium was interesting.

    The kidneys control how much water is in your urine. If you're dehydrated, for instance, your kidneys will retain as much water as possible, so your urine will be very concentrated (little water).

    There are many reasons to control how much water we retain or urinate out. If we drink a lot of water or too little (dietary water), the kidneys sense how much we need, and they cause us to excrete any excess or retain what little we've drunk (if we're low).

    We also need a minimum amount of blood circulating in our system at any given time. Imagine a closed bottle of water with a set volume of 5 liters. That 5 liters applies a certain pressure on the walls of the container (as blood exerts a pressure on the arterial walls in the "closed container" of our circulatory system). If we lose volume for any reason (and there are many), the pressure exerted on the walls of the container drops (=a drop in blood pressure). That's bad, and one way for the body to compensate for it is to retain water (the kidneys control that) so that the volume (and therefore pressure) build back up again.

    Let me know if you need to know why it's so important to maintain blood pressure.

    As you are aware acne is not just a teenager problem, it does affect adults too.

    Yes I think supplements are great for controlling acne, what I recommend is Zinc. Also you may want to consider accupuncture which has a high improvement rate.

    One thing you may not have looked at is exercise which reduces stress. Stress is one of the factors causing acne.

    I didnt study nutrition at college, but I understand how u feel in a way. I've been studying to be an (adult) general nurse for almost 3 years, & will complete my training in less than 6 months- & i dont feel nearly as ready as I feel I should be. I've been told that the real learning takes place when I go into 1st job, & there have been times when Ive felt I've not made the right choice in career- but I've stuck at it & will see how I get on when i get a job. I'm sure you'll be fine though- you've come this far & you probably will have doubts at times, but your halfway there,
