You are getting confused beteen two different ideas.
normally metals react according to Metal + acid = salt + hdrogen.
As you rightly understand, metals below H in the activity series can generate Hydrogen this way. The more reactive metal displaces H from the acid.
However concentrated nitric acid is a potent oxidising agent and can dissolve most metals. The nitric acid is reduced to either NO2 or NO in the process. You get this with copper using a] conc nitric and b] 50% nitric respectively. You'll never get hydrogen in these reactions, as they are not displacement reactions.

Alpha-lipoic acid….hm….there are better antioxidants out there….having a bunch of antioxidants is a better idea than just a few, because chemically, they work best when they have antioxidant buddies with them …..which is why a multiple vitamin would be your best bet….or is blood sugar an issue?
Guarana is simply a source of caffeine. Might as well stick to coffee or tea – both of them are sources of antioxidants.

Chlorophyll and mint – you have bad breath? no other reason to take it. Its simply a very expensive source of copper and magnesium, and thats in a multi-vitamin. (Besides, it stains something AWFUL)
I would just get a good multivitamin, and fish oil – and I would drink kefir when you can, if you aren't lactose intolerant. Thats one of the best thing in the health food store for the immune system – chock full of probiotocs that aren't typically found in a pill. And of course, I'm all for eating as many fruits and vegetables as you can.
A tomato has beta-carotene, lycopene, and about 99,998 other phytochemicals in it. All of them good for you, and all of them work together better than they do alone in a capsule
