Contact Lenses – How to properly wash
If you are using contact lenses, it is likely that the contacts are dry for only a few hours after if used. Besides, at night, when we finish wearing it, we have to clean it and store it in the right way to keep the length of our lens contact.
In this mini guide, I will show some simple but effective measures on how to clean your contact lens correctly. But why do we have to clean our lenses. Based on the triple action formula developed by Bausch and Lomb, when we clean our lens, which is eliminated proteins that accumulate as you use it during the day. Besides, if you clean thoroughly, effectively kill the microorganisms are bacteria and fungi in our lenses. Moreover, with a good cleaning will remove dirt and debris that are deposited in our objectives that will provide a clearer picture. So that with a proper cleaning method and a good cleaning solution, our goals are clean and comfortable giving us that feeling Fresh contact lenses every days.
So, here are the steps to be followed daily.
Step one is to rub. We need to focus on three drops of a solution While contact lens, for example, Bausch & Lomb Renu MultiPlus multipurpose solutions on either side of the lens surface and rub gently for ten seconds on each side. Be sure to rub well.
The second step is to rinse. After rubbing well each side is necessary to clarify each side of the lens for five seconds again with a good solution, and tries to use a good multipurpose solution.
The third step is soaking. After a good rubbing and rinsing, place the lens Contact washed in a bag and fill with the solution. Remember to soak for at least four hours. Remember to always use fresh solution – not to use the solution has been used by all bacteria and fungi.
Remember to always follow your eye care professional's instructions because they provide a careful instruction on the basis of their own tear chemistry and lens time zone. We also recommend additional products or procedures to be used. It is also recommended step without the friction method, which is the first step above. If this happens, clean, disinfect and remove protein daily without rubbing step, complete step two and three steps other than as described above. All the previous steps are shown in the cleaning of soft contact lenses including silicone hydrogel.
Remember use a good cleaning solution, and that can kill 99.99% of all bacteria and fungi. Also, be sure to get a very good contact with accessories the target, including contact lens solution for our contact lens longer than when using a contact lens solution well. if not life our contact lens will be shorter and shorter.
