Is Oxy Powder colon cleanse safe during breastfeeding?

I want to try acai berry / colon cleansing routine to lose weight, but still I'm nursing. I choose the organic option for the acai berry supplement, but I'm not sure if it would be safe to use Oxy-Powder colon cleanse as well? I would be grateful to share some knowledge on the subject! Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by oxy-powder, but I know that most of the pills colon cleansing is not recommended for pregnant or nursing. I would recommend staying away from the colon cleaning products until you've finished nursing. What kind of pills you are taking colon cleansing? I have been using the system of colon clean and works very well. I started taking it after it made nursing so there was no problems there. The results have been wonderful.     did you stop eating? Take a few a day and you will notice a difference within a day or so. ITs not going to make you have diahreah (SP) it will just aide to the health of your colon/

    Never try eating less. For one week, have the same thing every day. Take a little milk thistle in the morning and at night, and drink lots of green tea. To get your metabolism back up, eat lots of grains and wheat. I recommend an organic granola cereal, which can be purchased in the health food section of any store. Munching on snow peas, spinach and other simple plants can help wash out your system too. A very easy thing to do, though it doesnt have very good results, is just try and cut down on the fat for a while, and still take the milk thistle and tea.

    Weight loss is an overall process. You need to think about many factors. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.

    Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

    Make a few additional small changes – walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

    Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

    In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

    Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate – in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don't. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

    Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

    Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.

    Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.

    An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.

    Loosing weight fast is always an unhealthy thing.
    There are many diets who tell you that you can loose a lot of weight in no time. And it is working, but you are doing no good to your body. And there's also the Jojo-effect.
    The best thing to loose and hold a healthy weight is healthy food, less sugar, lots of drinking water, and sports.
    Diet has to begin in your head. And you already started to think about your nutrition. That's an important step. It is too easy just to make a magazine-diet for 2-3 weeks and loose some weight. But it will come back soon again. If you are over-thinking your nutrition and activity, you will have a constantly good result. Isn't that much better and healthier than a crash-diet ?

    If you just want to get slim sure. However eating more protein will help you feel fuller for longer. When I needed to drop about 20 lbs I did this:
    Breakfast : Carb and protein breakfast. Quesh, Omelet and wheat toast, or a BLT on wheat toast were my favorites.
    Lunch: Salad with lots of veggies and some sun flower seeds or a small can of chicken with a vinaigrette or a reduced calorie dressing like Catalina was always good.
    Dinner: Eat light. A can of soup will do wonders.
    Snacks: celery with chunky peanut butter. (it has fewer calories then the smooth does.) Yogurt and Graham crackers, or one of the right bite packages of gold fish crackers, and of course fruit.
    Drink lots or water no matter what diet you chose. Also remember it's not the end of the world if you eat something not on your diet. Allowing your self to cheat a little helps you stay on track.
    Trust me I went from a size 18 to a size 12 this way. I'm going back on it too since I gained more weight recently so I can get down to a size 8-10. (I'm 5'10" so that's actually a fairly healthy size for me)

    The biggest change in the world if we adopt organic farming will be the increased number of people needed to return to rural areas to work on farms and the increase of the prices of food due to this cost of labor. In North America and Western Europe we have very urban societies. Having an organic garden in your backyard can help but it simply isn’t enough for the volume of fod needed.     YES!!!!

    Make a chicken coop, chickens are a joy to have! I love mine, I have silkies, barred rocks, buff orpingtons, and a few mixes that all lay extremely well. They don't mind you taking their eggs unless one of them has a clutch and are sitting on them. Then just wear a glove if they start to get mad.

    My dad also raises angus cows for meat which really sucks because they are really sweet. I have a cow named princess which is my "pet" and she is awesome. Cows are pretty easy to maintain, you just kinda stick them in a pasture and let them do their own thing and milking them does not hurt them at all, once they get used to it they will actually come up to you as if asking to be milked to relieve some of the pressure. (assuming you get actual dairy cows that have the larger udders)

    Organic and free range and humane are commonly confused, all organic means is that they are not given any chemicals and are fed natural stuff, they are still treated bad. Free range means that they have to have access to the outside, it isn't usually much and they are still cramped, just on the ground instead of cages.

    Hello, Thank you for not eating dairy products. I would love to have my own cow, too, because even in some organic farms they separate the babies from the mothers and it causes the mothers to scream in pain for their babies, it’s extremely cruel. And it’s also cruel for the babies because the separation is very traumatic for them. I would leave mother and calf together and never separate them.

    While it's not thought of as a colon cleanser per se, the homeopathic remedy Nux Vomica should get things moving smoothly and comfortably with no emergencies. Try the 6X or 12X potency's and just follow the label directions to dissolve 3 or 4 tables under your tongue several times a day until you get comfortable–one or two doses usually does it. Completely safe with no side-effects.

    You can find any of several brands at good health food stores or you can order online and also get more information online, too.

    And to keep things moving along as they should, be sure to increase the fiber in your diet with lots of whole foods like fruits and veggies, whole cereals like oatmeal ( the less processing the better), beans, lentils, and lots of water!

    In m opinion I think you are too smart for your own good, first of all it is very hard on the human body "gut" to interduce nothing but veggies, you will get cramps,gas and everything you have explained above and plus the vitamins in the veggies is not enough. The protein shaks are not enough. Your body is ment to have meat, sad but true. The nuits found in meat can not be replaced by a shake or a carrot. try adding beef broth in your veggies and start from there, like the doctor more then likley told you about your anorexia problem, :it is up to you, keep doing this to yourself and you are going to cause nothing but problems" also in the same token you not eating the way you should has made you intestines thin i'm sure. you body is like a coal factory, if you do not interduce coal "food" it will not produce energy.
