    No, those supplements alone are not enough to cause weight gain.
    However, if you're gaining weight and that's all you're eating, you may not be eating enough calories for the energy you expend. If you don't intake enough calories for your daily needs, your body can go into starvation mode and not burn as many calories as you normally would so you don't starve as quickly.

    If you are gaining weight from this regimen and you aren't sure why, I would recommend talking to a nutritionist or dietitian so they can look at all the factors involved to see why you're gaining weight, work with your meal plan to increase or adjust whatever is needed, etc. Good luck and I hope I helped!

    alot of the foods you are eating are full of sugar. The dried fruits, yogurt, regular fruits, yogurt, chocolate are all full of sugars. By themselves they are fine, but adding them all togeather is a problem. The nuts are a great source of protein, but one can eat only a tiny amount due to the calories. I don't eat them because they are not filling. I don't think the meds are the problem, but the sugar. I base this on working with a nutritionist and Weight Watchers. Also if you are over 40 it is very hard to lose weight. I know this from experience. You need more filling foods such as green vegetables, etc and less sugars. I hope this helps because I found myself in your same shoes thinking these were all healthy foods and they are. We just eat too much of them. Also the sugars will keep you awake at night. If you reduce them and don't eat the sugars 6 hours before you go to bed I bet you can eliminate the sleep meds.
