I want to make a simple course in contract law, where and how start.I am 55 years old.?
30yrs has had exposure in the sector construction and reading the law has been my ambition.
Be aware of what you propose on getting yourself into. Please do more research first. Reminder: We are in a global recession. Consider career paths that have vacancies .<<<<<<<<<<<< Warning> Working in the field of Law are drying up quickly! That's not a good field to invest time and / or money. It is a contraction in ruins, and to die professionally. For many reasons. Many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the Internet. Also just do not have a legal Professional too – we have an absolute excess! ("Legal practitioners" includes, but is not limited to: Attorneys / lawyers paralegals, legal assistants, Legal Secretaries, bailiffs, stenographers, etc, etc) No work in this professional field. My family, coworkers, friends, communications, exchanges, etc. have been laid off left and right in this profession. Employers (usually law firms) in the field of Act today want workers with bachelor degrees traditional colleges and universities. The "certificates" that you will find not worth the paper they are printed in – usually scams. (I found this out the hard way.) Cost of the law school to be a lawyer, about $ 150,000 +. Be prepared to take a .<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< debt pile Even if you finish law school, you can not find a job when finished. From this career field is shrinking, many new lawyers are lawyers, themselves having to work "down" as paralegals, legal assistants, Legal Secretaries, judicial officers, Court Reporters, etc, etc, to try just to keep some of their bills paid <
Now... the law schools know this, pero not tell the> truth that the job market / economy is saturated so more legal professionals. Instead schools will feed a fairy tale and lie to you. The root of the problem is that we have more law schools. We are in a recession, and schools are fighting for their own survival - that will tell students anything to get money from students. (Which is why not tell the truth about the labor market for the scope of the Act). Y these schools continue to recruit and churn out more graduates ............. Remember, law schools are businesses - Their main concern is making money for himself themselves. If you do not believe me, then just do a search here on Yahoo Answers to see what other posters on the current state of the field of law. Call some local law firms - ask for the Human Resources Manager - ask if they are hiring, what they think of job availability in the field of Law .............. .... In the book "So You Want to be a lawyer?" by Marianne Susanne Calabrese and Calabrese (ISBN 0-88391-136-1): "The United States have more lawyers than any other country in the world. About 38,000 students graduate> each <year from the 200 + law schools in the United States. The competition is fierce for jobs and customers. "- Even Justice Antonin Scalia (who was a member of the Supreme Court are over 20 years) says there are too many lawyers. If you want to work when finished their studies, study and analyze the areas of>>> Health and Information Technology! I talked to a counselor at the Employment and Services Family, and he said that these areas are where the jobs are, and the availability of jobs in the future! and scholarships! Good luck. RT Sometimes you have to push the reset button and start over. Don't let your history stop your destiny! #ihatequotes
sweet this in my a.p bio class.
Depends on what you are looking for. If your love is of history for its sake, then you will learn more about history as a history major than as a History Education major. History Education will require to combine a mix of education courses with history courses. You'll learn less history and will have to take education classes, which I can tell you as a teacher myself, are a waste of time and incredibly boring to sit through.
If your goal is to teach history, then I'd double major in both. The Ed. major will prepare you to be a history teacher, and the history major will ensure that you know your material well.
On it's own a history major is a general liberal arts major. No direct career correlation.
Are you trying to call the other parent or your kids? If you are trying to contact the other parent, then try email so you have something in writing. Co parenting can be a challenge. Are you trying to contact your children? If so, email Mom and request that she make the kids available by phone. Give dates and times she did not answer or have them call you back. If this does not solve the problem, visit your local family court and ask what your options are. You don’t need a lawyer. You need to have the courts support your parental rights. If you have a lot of conflict with Mom, I suggest asking the judge to order co parent classes. The class helps you both set your personal agendas aside and work together. Often the only way is by email concerning specific subjects like medical, school and changes to visitation only.
